Why We Ask for ID Verification

We know ID verification is not anyone’s favorite step. We do not enjoy asking for it and we genuinely wish it was not necessary. But verifying age is an important responsibility that protects our community and keeps our products in the hands of responsible researchers.

Your cooperation helps prevent access by individuals who do not meet the minimum age requirement. It protects you, it protects us, and it protects the integrity of the research community we are building together.

We also want to be completely transparent. We do not use your ID for anything other than confirming your age. We do not store it, sell it, or share it, and once your verification is complete, it is deleted. Your privacy matters to us.
